Ta Da

Well, Grammy (and my other avid readers), I have finally found my camera, taken a few pictures, and sat down long enough to put up a post!!!  J had a week and half off or work and we stayed BUSY!!!

This first picture, though, is of the kids watching YouTube videos of The Piano Guys... these kids will sit there for hours (literally) watching the songs over and over again :)

The triplets have started preschool (officially)... apparently, Smaug wants to learn the letter A too!

TW made some cinnamon roll cake one morning.  Smaug drug the stool over and decided to get some more :)

And, the next day, he not only drug a stool over, but got a bowl (off the couter) and a spoon out of the drawer to snack.  Yes, he is pouting, he was upset that he got "caught" :)

The girls room got painted (since we are expecting 2 sets of overnight guests and it was raining outside).  I was going to paint green and white vertical stripes.  With Daddy's prompting, this is what happened :)  I insisted on adding some pink in!

And the girls and I went to the store to get supplies for even more pink cuteness!

Mamie chases goats (who escape allllll the time).  The goats do not like this and hide *sigh*

I suppose this is our future... laid back lunches with books!

I got out most of my sewing stuff for one project, and took up the entire table... I think my sewing room is going to need a bigger table than I first thought.

See those four tiny trees?  I thought they were bushes, until they started to flower.  Someone trimmed them in the past by lobbing off their tops... they look kind of puny after my trimming, but hopefully they'll grow up!

Mom, I took this picture for you... all the crepe myrtles are in bloom now!

This is one of our front palm trees... it used to be covered in Virginia Creeper and dead palm fronds... it looks sooooo good now... Great Job J!!!

Found the camera!!!

Here is our new cat, Mr. Tumnus. 

Pretty Girl asks to go out with the cat.  A lot.  And, every time you tell her to come in, she gives him a kiss.  I love that girl ;)

Smaug loves his dinosaur.

Mr. E loves bugs.  I tried to get a picture of him smiling.  One looked like a grimace, one turned out fuzzy and one has him holding the moth right in the middle of his face... this one was the best!

This is an "old" picture (as in, the building looks different now), but, Mom, I took it because I was trying to explain the egg collection thingy to you and it didn't make sense... I hope this is better!

Our Arkansas Friends gave us sickness (which is partly why I have not posted anything lately).  Smaug had roseola (you can't really see the rash, but it's there)!  TW had (maybe) 5th disease.  Mr. E had a fever for about 12 hours, I had it every evening for 3 nights, and the girls got off scott-free.

Somewhere in there, we celebrated three 4th birthdays...

... by going to the beach...

... getting sun burnt... and having strawberry angel food cake!!!

And that very same night, Pretty Girl sent her birthday out with a bang.  She has a knack for ER visits on holidays, her first two stitches were on Easter ;)  Somehow, while playing (and not sleeping), she ended up cutting her cheek.  She and I spent a few hours in the ER, watching HGTV and getting three stitches!

Mr. E found this snake (rat snake) wiggling across the driveway!

And, I finally re-grouted, and sealed the new bathroom floor (i.e. finished it)!!!

And now a picture with the rugs... yes, we need three :)

It rained the evening of the 4th of July, so we did sparklers the next night!

He is so darn cute :)

In Other News:  We have already started school again, after a whole 2 weeks off *sigh*.  But, Daddy will be off for two weeks and then we are going out of town, so we'll be taking most of July off ;)
