Phew. Sorry I haven't updated our journey in so long... we have been without Internet :) But, all is well, so I can continue sharing pictures from our trip!
After leaving Kansas, we headed south(ish) to Arkansas! We stopped for lunch in Rogers, AR to visit some friends and then headed to Little Rock, for a 2 night visit!
There was a lot of playing... with 9 kids total, what else can you expect???
Big Jo-Jo and J took the bigger kids on a "secret path" during nap time.... they found a craw fish...
... and some tempting water...
... and, as if the water excursion wasn't enough, the "kids" topped off the day with some Wii dancing!!!
We headed out early Sunday morning... when we found an open gas station, we noticed this sign... didn't we leave Iowa???
The kiddos had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in the car, because there was no place to stop for food in northwestern Alabama... but we eventually found a McD's with a play land... there's no shot of Mr. E, he was too busy eating the ice cream I got for the kids to split, and Little Man was too fast to catch with a camera :)
