Follow my logic...
We need another goat, a female, and she needs to be an Alpine goat, because that's what we have (for bad or for worse). I looked in Florida. Nothing. I looked in Georgia. Nothing. I looked in Alabama. Nothing. I looked in Arkansas. Bingo. Why look in Arkansas, you might ask. Because our best friends are there!!! So last Monday, I washed load upon load of clothes, packed suitcases and headed to North Central Arkansas to get a goat. Her name is Annabel (she came named). Here is where she road for the 2 1/2 drive from Oxford, AR to Little Rock. Just in case you are wondering, she road in the back of the van for the drive home :)
I had great plans to take lots of pictures of us with our friends, but I did a horrible job. I did manage to get this shot... pizza and movie. 11 kids.
That same night, TW and "N" caught some lightening bugs!
I was taking photos of Pretty Girl playing with the goat (she loves animals!!!), but then Smaug went out and this was such a cute photo, that I had to share it instead. I was taking the picture through a door... so it's a little milky looking... sorry.
The day before we left with went to the The Big Dam Bridge (that's its real name. J had a hoot asking Mr. E about our visit to the bridge last night during dinner... "where did you go" "the dam bridge" "really, was it fun" "yes" "so what was it called" "the dam bridge" "oh" "did you walk far" "yup" "one more time, what was it called" "J, please stop")!
We had someone take a picture of all of us :)
I absolutely love this picture (not staged at all)... they were watching to see if a barge (which is behind the tree) was going to come closer. It didn't, but it did give everyone a walk break!
Right before we left, we had to get a picture of the two Joe Joe's together. Aren't they cute? We so enjoyed our whirlwind trip... I'd do it again in a heartbeat... but next time, we'll have to take our Daddy with us!
In Other News: Did I mention that we also brought a kitten home? His name is Mr. Tumnus. He caught a lizard yesterday and ate it's tail. I think he'll do just fine outside here :)
