I really didn't think we had that big of a week, but I have quite a few pictures :)
Here is TW measuring the length of the school room... in his feet, we also measured in Mama feet and in standard feet :)
Incidentally... we finished the third Wingfeather Saga book this week and began the Hobbit, so I may need to change his name from TW to Bilbo... we'll see :)
We also finished up our respiratory section in science. To help visualize how the diaphragm helps the lungs, we made a balloon model!
TW was then "into" balloons, and made this "pulley"... here is he showing Mr. E how it works!
Girls can play on swings, even when the cushions are put up :)
We went to Lowe's... a giant Santa was there to greet us. TW requested one for our yard :)
Littlest Man gets jealous at meal times because he starts in the bouncy seat on the floor and can't see. I usually end up picking him up, so, we decided to pull out the high chair, he's much happier now!
Girl bath night... Pretty Girls shirt was off due to a spaghetti mishap, while waiting, she went into the garage and did this :) J was very pleased!
I had to refill Littlest Man's zantac this week, another lady sat near us while we waited... Berry enjoyed playing with her little girl.
And, then we went to the commissary. Which started with 2 carts, but about 30 seconds in Mr. E decided he did not want to ride in the basket, so we ditched the extra cart. I now know that having both boys walk is a big no-no. Actually, they did pretty good until the end, when Mr. E decided to exert his independence and began walking on the other side of displays so I could not see him. And then, unwisely, I had him walk ahead of the cart through the check out. He proceeded to walk right out the door and back in another one (which wouldn't open right away because he's too small to set off the sensor). Poor TW was being told to get Mr. E, but he didn't know which way to go. Mr. E eventually made it back in, I tried to pay for the food, there were people in line behind me (don't ask me why so many people were there that day, we try to go at non-buy times). So, I'm handing money over, and trying to pull Mr. E toward me, and his head gets stuck between the cart and the check-out (they are very narrow lanes), and then the other checker is pulling on him the other way, and I'm trying to get him to duck. It was awful... I cried the entire way home... next week I'm taking a leash!
Okay, moving right along, we read a recipe for math, and then made it (Apple Jack cookies, which only the girls ended up liking). TW is in jammies, at 2 pm... it was the same day as the commissary incident. While I put groceries away, I sent the kids to the back yard. TW turned on the hose (which is not authorized) to "clean the water off the toys"... every child was soaked, so they got a group shower, jammies, lunch and sent to bed for naps...
I went to church the same night for a meeting, leaving J with the older kids... Daddy makes fun pancakes... way to drive the nail in the coffin off a long day. But you know what, God is good... I had pretty much blanked out the stinky-ness of Wednesday until I started doing this post... thank you Lord for day amnesia :)
Littlest Man does not like tummy time, I decided to try it in front of the mirror... still no luck.
We started our next section in science, the blood. We made a candy version of blood... corn syrup for plasma, cinnamon candies (which everyone loves, despite being "spicy") for red blood cells, a white jelly bean for a white blood cell and sprinkles for platelets. TW couldn't understand why I didn't let him eat the "blood", but was content with some jelly bean instead :)
TW has been doing special chores to earn money for Pretty Girls Christmas gift... one job he did this week was to rake (and then play)!
In Other News: Littlest Man got a new long sleeve shirt this week.... in case the print is too small, it says "My middle name is Handsome" :)
