The Sofa Adventure

Here is our old sofa... it has served us faithfully for almost 10 years. We had planned on selling it before we moved and buying a new set then (in about a year)... but we were on a shopping spree of sorts and decided to go for it now.

On Tuesday, we headed down to the big furniture store and found a couch we liked quickly and bought it. Because it cost $79 to have it delivered, we opted to pick it up ourselves (with the help of "Unca" Matthew) today. We headed down to DM, only to find out the truck delivering our sofa was running behind ... so we had some time to kill and decided to visit a near-by mall and the play area... the babies first visit to a play area!!!

And of course, what would an outing be without an adventure? Blythe, how to put this nicely, had an explosion in her paper diaper... let's just say, I'm glad there was a Target in the mall!

And let's just say, I'm glad Daddy let me go to Target while he cleaned up the mess :)


Eventually we picked up the couch (and ottoman) and headed home and got everything set up and sort of back in place (just in time for pizza and movie night... Kung Fu Panda this week)! Ephraim really likes to sit up on the ottoman and rule the roost!
As a side note... Jeremy took his brother back down to DM (since the other brother is borrowing his car... confusing, I know), anyway, he just called and "Unca" Matthew is locked out of the house... what an adventure this has been!
